Protests held in response to ICE activity

This week saw a varied public response following the death of Alex Pretti, an ICU nurse shot and killed by US Customs and Border Protection agents while protesting in Minnesota. WGCU’s Kate Cronin covers the Florida Gulf Coast University campus where students stepped out of class to protest the 287(g) agreement. The mandated program gives university police the ability to detain students for potential deportation.
