Lee County Law Enforcement Join Forces for Special Olympics Torch Run

The torch has been lit as locals came out in droves to support the Special Olympics. To kick things off, the annual Law Enforcement Torch Run brought together law officials from across Lee County to run and bike through a five-mile court. WGCU’s Bryant Monteilh laced up his shoes and joined the fun before talking with Don Payne, Special Olympics coordinator with Lee County, to learn more about how the Special Olympics impacts more than just the athletes in our community.
