Rebuilding Fort Myers Beach Elementary
It started with Hurricane Ian, but Mother Nature would not let up across Southwest Florida. Storms destroyed several schools, including Fort Myers Beach Elementary School. While Town residents and school district leaders disagreed on its future, there are now plans to reopen it as a charter school.
