Book Bans in Florida Schools

According to Newsweek, Florida leads the nation when it comes to the banning of books in schools. The topic of book banning will be part of a public forum happening Sept. 20 at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Greater Naples. WGCU’s Jennifer Crawford talks with Dr. Amy Perwien, a speaker at the forum and Collier County parent, as well as Ellen Hemrick, UUCGN director of Religious Exploration, about the upcoming presentation.
