The story behind Fort Myers’ massive downtown mosaic
A 20-by-100 foot ceramic tile mural titled "An Alternative History of Fort Myers" spans the George Whitehurst United States Courthouse in downtown Fort Myers. Artist Barbara Jo Revelle discusses the two-year process of designing and installing the mosaic, which depicts scenes from Lee County history including the Seminole Wars and the Battle of Fort Myers.
